This photograph won first place at the Virginia State
Fair for best picture in the Digital Manipulation
category.
It is a copulation of five photographs put together and
digitally modified to blend into one theme.  The moon,
the child in the wizard suit, the ghostly face in the
sphere, The sphere he is holding and the lightening
are the five photographs combined into this picture.
This picture titled "Rainy Rose" won first
place at the Virginia State Fair for best floral.  
This was shot from my front step in my rose
garden just after a good rain.  The flash used
and by metering only on the rose caused the
mulch and other garden clutter to be occluded
in darkness.
This portrait of Mr. Cunningham won second
place in the Virginia State Fair for color
portraits.
It was taken one morning while he was out
working his farm.  At 90 years young he and
his wife still keep active by cutting and
splitting firewood, gardening and keeping
things in order.
